SEO & local search

Get found by the people in Southwest Florida who are already searching for you.

SEO is the difference between a website that brings in calls and one that sits there. JWCAA builds it into every site from the first line of code, and offers two monthly retainers for businesses that want to keep climbing.

Why it matters

A website with no traffic is a brochure nobody opens

The best-looking site in Lee County does not matter if nobody lands on it. Most future customers are not typing your business name into Google. They are typing “roof cleaning near me” into a phone and calling whoever shows up first.

SEO is the work that puts you in front of those searches. It is not a trick, just technical and editorial decisions made correctly and kept up, so Google understands what you do, where you do it and why it should trust you.

What real SEO actually is

  • A unique title and description on every page
  • One clear heading structure Google can follow
  • Structured data (schema) naming your business, services and area
  • An XML sitemap and canonical tags
  • Google Search Console verified and watched
  • Page speed measured on a phone, not assumed
  • A mobile-first build, because Google indexes the mobile version
  • Internal links between service and location pages
  • Redirects that keep your history when a URL changes

What it is not

Three things we will never do to your website

Much of what gets sold as SEO is useless or harmful, and Google has spent years learning to ignore or penalize it. None of it is in our work.

Keyword stuffing

Repeating “Naples plumber” 40 times does not rank a page, it makes the page unreadable. Google measures whether a page answers the question; the reader decides whether to call. We write for both.

Meta keywords

Google has ignored the meta keywords tag for well over a decade. Anyone promising to “optimize your meta keywords” is selling a line of code that does nothing. The title, description and schema are what matter.

Buying links

Paid link packages and directory blasts are the fastest way to earn a manual penalty. Links that help come from real citations, real partners and pages worth linking to. We build those, and never buy the other kind.

Local search

Local SEO for Bonita Springs, Naples, Estero, Fort Myers, Cape Coral and Marco Island

Search for a service in Southwest Florida and Google shows a map with three businesses before anything else. Getting into that map pack is a different job from ranking a page, and most of the signals live outside your website.

Google Business Profile

The single most important local ranking factor. We claim, verify and complete your profile: categories, services, hours, photos, service area and a description that matches your site. Then we keep it active; an abandoned profile slips.

Location & service-area pages

A page for each city you serve, written for that place, not the same paragraph with the city name swapped. Bonita Springs, Naples, Estero, Fort Myers and Cape Coral each get their own.

NAP consistency & citations

Your name, address and phone number must match exactly everywhere they appear: site, profile, directories, the chamber, Facebook. Mismatches make Google doubt you. We audit, clean up and build correct listings.

Reviews as a signal

Review count, recency and your replies all factor into the map pack. We set up a simple way to ask happy customers at the right moment, and show you how to answer every review.

Honest timelines

What to expect, and when

SEO is the slowest thing we sell and the one that keeps paying the longest. Better to say so now than have you wondering in week three.

Expect two months or more

Google has to recrawl, reindex and re-evaluate before anything moves. Rankings and calls typically take two months or more to shift, and competitive categories take longer.

Nobody can guarantee #1

Google does not sell organic rankings and does not take requests. Anyone who guarantees the top spot is guessing, or planning something that will get you penalized. We guarantee the work, done properly and reported every month.

What moves first

Technical fixes and a completed Google Business Profile usually show first, sometimes within weeks in the map pack. New pages, citations and links compound over time. Your part: answer our questions, send photos, ask for reviews. We give you the tools; you bring the dedication.

Our process

How an SEO engagement runs

Audit

We crawl your site, read Search Console, check your Google Business Profile and citations, and study the competitors outranking you. You get a written list of what is broken and missing.

Fix the foundation

Titles, descriptions, headings, schema, sitemap, canonicals, speed and mobile. The technical work that has to be right before anything else counts.

Build local signals

Google Business Profile completed and kept active, location pages written, citations cleaned and added, review requests running.

Measure & keep going

Rank tracking and a monthly report in plain English: what moved, what we did, what is next.

SEO FAQ

Common questions

How long before I see results from SEO?

Typically two months or more. Google Business Profile improvements often show sooner in the map results; new pages, citations and links keep building for months after that. Monthly reports show progress before it turns into calls.

Can you guarantee a number one ranking on Google?

No, and nobody honest can. Google does not sell organic positions, and results shift with location, device and competition. What we promise is the work, done correctly and reported every month.

Do I need an SEO retainer if I buy a BizWiz website?

Not necessarily. Every BizWiz web package includes the fundamentals, and Professional and Supreme add schema, location pages and Google Business Profile setup. A retainer makes sense in a competitive category, or when you want to grow beyond your home city.

What is the difference between SEO Local and SEO Growth?

SEO Local, at $399 per month, holds and strengthens your local presence: Google Business Profile management, on-page optimization, citations, review requests and rank tracking. SEO Growth, at $799 per month, adds two new pages or articles a month, link building, competitor analysis and a quarterly strategy call.

Can you do SEO on a site you did not build?

Yes, as long as we can edit it. Page-builder sites limit some technical fixes, and we will tell you which ones up front. Sometimes a hand-coded rebuild with proper redirects is cheaper than fighting the platform, and we will say so.

Is there a contract?

Both retainers have a three-month minimum, then run month to month with 30 days’ notice to cancel. Invoices are paid through Square, and everything we build stays with you if you stop.

A real result

What happens when the technical basics are right

Google Search Console flagged this on a school website we built: impressions for one private-school search query rose 25,650% above its usual level. Impressions mean people seeing the listing, and this is one query on one site, so we do not promise numbers like it. We show it because it is real, recent, and came from exactly the work described on this page: one clear page per topic, correct titles and structured data, and a site Google can read.
